Mit der Atlas EP hat der spanische DJ und Musikproduzent Oscar L drei groovige Tracks auf Truesoul publiziert. Den Anfang macht der smart treibende Gustostückerl „Atlas“, welcher sofort den Floor eskalieren lässt. „When the Bassline Hits“ ist ein elegantes Juwel, angetrieben von einem düsteren Synth-Lead und knackigen Percussion-Elementen. Dieser stimmungsvolle Club-Track vereint Energie und Atmosphäre gleichermaßen. Das Release wird durch „Still Human“ abgerundet, einen treibend elektronisch angehauchten Dancefloor-Track, welcher ein bekanntes Sample aus LaTurs „People Are Still Having Sex“ verwendet.
“I wanted to explore a slightly lower BPM with more groove this time, as my recent releases were more focused around 132 BPM and a heavier techno sound. For this release, the idea was to go a bit more underground while still keeping a sound that fits well with the current market.” – Oscar L
