Akai MPC Fly – mobile MPC-Variante setzt auf iPad 2

Nach dem MPC Studio und dem großem Bruder MPC Renaissance folgt mit dem Akai MPC Fly die mobile Variante welches ein Apple iPad 2 voraussetzt. Das iPad wird einfach in die Docking-Station gesteckt und ist über ein Gelenk mit der MPC Hardware verbunden. Die MPC-Hardware verfügt über 16 sensitive Pads mit Aftertouch & Hintergrundbeleuchtung, als Software dient das App “MPC Fly” – welches für das iPad erhältlich sein wird.

Die Software hat ab Werk schon Samples integriert, es können aber auch über das iPad Mikrofonc eigene Samples aufgenommen werden oder ihr importiert welche per iTunes. Mit dem App habt ihr einfachen Zugriff auf Bitcrusher, Delay, Note-Repeat, Master-Compressor, Limiter, Swing und Time-Correct – sogar das Wireless-Sync-Start Protokoll von Korg wird unterstützt. Der Preis sowie Verfügbarkeit ist noch unbekannt.

  • Note variation slider allows you to manipulate attack, velocity, length, and tuning as you play
  • Built-in effects: delay, bit crusher, master compressor/limiter
  • Time correct: 1/8 note – 1/32T with variable Swing setting
  • Note Repeat: 1/8 note – 1/32T timing
  • Sample using internal mic or line-in and trim and categorize samples
  • Sample from your iPod library with turntable interface
  • Share on SoundCloud, Facebook or twitter
  • Supports WIST, Wireless Sync Start protocol from Korg
